Paid leadership development project for FIERCE, activist organization for LGBTQ youth of color

Education for Liberation Project: this is a training program for political activists, but will involve a strong media component in terms of outreach and organization.  From FIERCE

FIERCE has a kick ass paid internship opportunity coming up for LGBTQ youth of color! The Education for Liberation Project is back in action ya’ll!
For those of you that have heard about ELP before, know that this years cycle is gonna blow your mind! We did some remixing for the ELP 2013 cycle!

Not only do participants get some awesome political education knowledge around different systems of oppression (i.e. Racism, Transphobia, Homophobia, etc.), but they get the bomb ass skills to go with it (i.e. building a base, grassroots fundraising, media training, etc.)! That’s right it’s a two in one deal ya’ll. Get educated, get liberated, and get organizing!

If you have never gone through the Education for Liberation Project, we urge you to apply!

If you have been through the first stage of the Education for Liberation Project – NO WORRIES! You can still apply!

All applications are due FRIDAY, JUNE 7TH.
The group interview is on FRIDAY, JUNE 14TH in the FIERCE office from 5-8pm. Make sure to mark your calendars!! It’s a requirement to attend if you want to be a part of the program.
